Siap –In a daring move that has sent shockwaves through the MotoGP world, Marc Marquez's affiliation with Ducati has sparked tensions within the VR46 family. 

Warned by fellow VR46-affiliated riders, Marquez faces an intriguing challenge as he joins forces with rivals under the Ducati banner.

Last season witnessed heated verbal exchanges between Marquez and Marco Bezzecchi, but the plot thickens as both are now equipped with the same Ducati machinery, casting them under the Ducati umbrella.

"It defies logic," Marquez expressed. "Whether Ducati's realm is good or bad, with numerous VR46 riders, the Marquez family might not find the respect they expect..."

Gresini Racing successfully lured Marquez into their team, sealing a one-year deal for 2024 amid complexities tied to Ducati's familial dynamics. 

The intricate process saw Pramac opting to retain 2023 runner-up Jorge Martin alongside Franco Morbidelli, who steps in for Johann Zarco.

Pramac Racing's boss, Paolo Campinoti, boldly asserted his financial decisions, emphasizing, "If I had to make an economic effort – and I openly admit it – I'd do it for Martin, whose value exceeds Marc's. Ultimately, he's younger, and I prefer him."

Marquez was briefly considered by Pramac last year before they withdrew. Campinoti clarified that Pramac wouldn't sign Marquez for just one year, citing Ducati's insistence on a two-year contract, a policy not echoed by Gresini.
